A MultiColor Kid Personalized Book ~ A Review
Disclosure: I received a free book to review. I am an affiliate of Flattenme.com and will receive a small commission if the links above are used to make a purchase. Nevertheless, my opinions are 100% my own and based on personal experience.
A few days ago I received the newest book from Flattenme.com in the mail, A MultiColor Kid. It features a beautiful glossy hardcover and gorgeous, colorful illustrations by Jennifer Hess. I personalized the story with my niece’s name, and a Happy Birthday message from my daughter in the dedication spot on the first page.
A MultiColor Kid goes beyond the everyday “learning my colors” books for young children. Different colors represent different moods and aspects of the named child. Orange is playful energy, purple is creativity, and gray is grumpiness, of course! The poetry accompanying the illustrations provide a wonderful opportunity for caregivers to talk about feelings and moods with their child. In my opinion, this would make a wonderful gift for young children through the age of five.
My daughter noticed the picture of the book on the computer screen (you can preview the entire story online) and asked me to read it to her. Since our physical book is a gift, I sat her on my lap and read it from the screen. She enjoyed the story and sat engaged from start to finish (I think she liked hearing her name on every page!)

Flattenme.com publishes several personalized books in both hardcover and softcover versions (most require a photo, but A MultiColor Kid and Owl Always Love You require just the child’s name). Some of the titles available are ABC & 123, My SuperSomeone, Potty Dance, and Pirates. They also offer unique personalized wall art, t-shirts and greeting cards as well! If you are looking for some neat personalized gifts for the kids in your life, this site is a great place to start!
