Paper Doll Nostalgia
Did you enjoy playing with paper dolls when you were growing up? Do your children like them? Although they have been around for ages, paper dolls have endured both as an educational toy for little ones and as collectibles for adults. With the holidays approaching I’ve been thinking about my Mom, and today for some reason I was reminded of how much she enjoyed paper dolls. When she was a little girl, she spent hours cutting out the little dolls and their clothing (they weren’t punch out back then). Mom might have been surprised to learn that you can now download paper dolls to your computer and print them out on a color printer!

There are both vintage paper doll books (I especially like the Laura Ingalls Wilder set – my Mom had one just like it) and downloadables available on Etsy – just click on the thumbnails above to visit individual listings.
