Read and Share 5 Minute Bible Stories ~ Children’s Book Review
You really want to read to your kids, but the days don’t seem long enough to fit it in sometimes. Or perhaps you are dealing with short attention spans? If you are looking for a Bible Story book with short stories for preschoolers and kindergarteners, this one may be perfect for you.

Read and Share 5 Minute Bible Stories by Gwen Ellis contains 90 stories that take you through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The illustrations are fun and vibrant, perfect to keep a child’s attention while you are reading. Each story is two pages long and very brief – so short in fact, that if your child is like my daughter, she’ll keep saying “just one more, just one more!” I like that the author included a question or two at the end of each story – a simple way to engage your kids in conversation. I’m constantly amazed at what my 5-year-old can comprehend!
The author Gwen Ellis gives a nice overview of the Bible in language that your preschooler or kindergartener can easily understand. I like the large size – it seems like kids get excited about big books! The paper is a nice heavy quality that shouldn’t tear easily. I recommend this story book!
