A Night Night Prayer ~ Children’s Book Review
Review
A Night Night Prayer is an adorable book, written by Amy Parker and illustrated by Caroline Pedler. A little alpaca is getting ready for bed, and he says “night-night” to his puppy, the birds outside of his window, his parents, and to God. The story is told in a nice, relaxing rhyme, perfect for calming children who don’t want to go to bed.
A Night Night Prayer is a wonderful way to introduce children to bedtime prayers, and also to remind them of God’s blessings and love for us. I really enjoyed reading this to my preschooler before bed a few days ago – in fact, I’m going to put it on the top of the stack for tonight’s reading! She really enjoyed it. If you would like to preview the book online, please scroll down on this post below the giveaway form to “flip” through it.
