Win Or Lose, I Love You! ~ Children’s Book Review and Free Printables

Win or Lose 2If you are like me, it can be difficult sometimes as a Mom to see your children’s hurt feelings – it’s so tempting to protect their little emotions in every circumstance.  And, it can be difficult to know what to say to provide meaningful comfort when your child is disappointed or in emotional pain.

That is why I was so thankful for the book It Will be Okay: Trusting God Through Fear and Change by Lysa Terkeurst – my daughter and I both love it!  Now, from the same author comes Win or Lose, I Love You!

In this story, Lulu and Max put on a Field Day for their animal friends in the forest.  Through fun competitions and contests, the friends learn how to be good winners and losers.  They learn about forgiveness and that their friends are more important than winning.  I really appreciated the picture of servant leadership, and the good character traits encouraged throughout the story.  My daughter really enjoyed the characters, story, and illustrations!  This is another book I am very happy to have on my shelf!
